Who can become a member?
An applicant should have served in MK and must complete the required membership documentation. Where an application is disputed or verification is needed, the constitution provides for consideration by a provincial special committee representing MK detachments.
Member rights
- Access to information about MKMVA.
- Participation in the association’s structures.
- Access to benefits or proceeds of the association where lawfully applicable and properly governed.

Membership and state benefits
MKMVA membership and eligibility for government military-veteran benefits are separate processes. Membership does not automatically establish eligibility for state benefits.
